The UA75-30-00RA 230-240V 50Hz / 240-260V 60Hz is a 3-pole contactor designed for capacitor switching, suitable for installations where peak currents exceed 100 times the nominal RMS current. Delivered with built-in damping resistors, these contactors must be used without additional inductances. To ensure proper operation, capacitors must be discharged to a maximum residual voltage of 50V before re-energization. The electrical durability of the UA75-30-00RA is 250,000 operating cycles for voltages below 500V and 100,000 cycles for voltages between 500V and 690V.
Fitted with a specialized front-mounted block, the UA..RA contactors enable the serial insertion of three damping resistors into the circuit, limiting the initial current peak when energizing a capacitor bank.
