GA75 contactors are specifically designed for DC circuit switching, where arc suppression is more challenging compared to AC applications. Selecting the appropriate contactor requires knowledge of the current, voltage, and the L/R time constant of the power circuit being controlled. GA75 contactors feature a block-type design with arc chutes and permanent magnets for effective DC breaking. The three contact paths are connected in series using two pre-installed insulated connections (25 mm²). As single-pole devices, they require correct polarity connections, with terminals labeled 1L1 for positive and 2T1 for negative. These contactors include a side-mounted CAL 5-11 auxiliary contact block (for GA75-10-11 models) and operate on an AC-powered control circuit with a laminated magnet system.
