The AF38 4-pole contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 440 V DC, making them ideal for non-inductive or slightly inductive loads such as resistance furnaces. These contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface that accommodates a wide control voltage range. With just four coil variants, they support voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, allowing a single coil to operate across different global voltage conditions without requiring replacement. This flexibility simplifies installation and reduces inventory needs. AF contactors are capable of handling large voltage fluctuations and include built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for additional suppressors. The AF series 4-pole contactors are of block-type design, featuring 4 normally open (N.O.) main poles and options for front or side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. The auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked, compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and the normally closed (N.C.) mirror contacts meet Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1 standards. The contactors support both AC and DC control circuits and are compatible with a broad range of accessories for enhanced application versatility.
