The AF52 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, and are primarily used for operating 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range, eliminating the need for multiple coil types. With just four coils, the AF series can cover control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, allowing one coil to manage large voltage variations and making the same contactor suitable for global applications without coil replacement. The AF contactors are also equipped with built-in surge protection, removing the need for external surge suppressors. The AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors follow a block-type design and include three main poles along with front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked and comply with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, while the N.C. mirror contacts conform to Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can be operated by either AC or DC, and a wide range of compatible accessories is available for added versatility.
