The AF80 4-pole contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 440 V DC, making them ideal for managing non-inductive or slightly inductive loads such as resistance furnaces. These contactors are equipped with an electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range (Uc min. to Uc max.), ensuring high adaptability across various applications. Just four coil versions cover control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, allowing a single coil to function across different global voltage standards without the need for replacement. AF contactors are engineered to handle significant control voltage fluctuations and include integrated surge protection, eliminating the need for additional suppressors. The AF series 4-pole contactors feature a block-type design and include 2 normally open (N.O.) and 2 normally closed (N.C.) main poles. They also support front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks, with mechanically-linked auxiliary contacts compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1 and N.C. mirror contacts in accordance with Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can operate on either AC or DC, and a wide variety of accessories is available to enhance functionality.
