The AF80 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, making them suitable for managing 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range (Uc min. to Uc max.), offering exceptional flexibility. Just four coil variants are sufficient to cover control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, allowing a single coil to operate across global voltage ranges without the need for replacement. AF contactors are capable of handling large control voltage variations and come with built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for external suppressors. The AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors have a block-type design and include 3 main poles, with provisions for front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked and compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and the N.C. mirror contacts meet the requirements of Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can operate on either AC or DC, and a wide range of accessories is available to meet diverse application needs.
