The AF09 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, and are primarily used for switching 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface capable of handling a wide control voltage range, from Uc min. to Uc max. Just four coils are sufficient to cover control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 20 to 500 V DC, making them highly versatile for global applications. The ability to operate across a broad voltage range eliminates the need for coil changes when used in different regions. Additionally, AF contactors are equipped with built-in surge protection, removing the requirement for external surge suppressors. The AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors follow a compact block-type design and come with 3 main poles and 1 built-in auxiliary contact. They also support front and side-mounted add-on auxiliary contact blocks. The auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked in compliance with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and the N.C. mirror contacts meet Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can be operated with either AC or DC, and a wide range of accessories is available to suit various installation needs
