AF09 contactors are engineered for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC. They are mainly used for operating 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range—from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC—covered by just four coil variants. This design enables a single coil to accommodate various global voltage requirements without the need for replacement. AF contactors are capable of handling significant voltage fluctuations and come equipped with built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for external suppressors. The AF series 1-stack, 3-pole contactors are of block-type construction and include three main poles along with one built-in auxiliary contact. They also support front and side-mounted add-on auxiliary contact blocks. The auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked, complying with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and include N.C. mirror contacts as per Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. Designed for both AC and DC control circuits, AF09 contactors are compatible with a wide range of accessories, offering flexible and reliable solutions for industrial applications.
