AF16 3-Pole Contactors for Motor Control and Power Circuit Applications up to 690V AC and 220V DC
The AF16 contactors are designed for efficient control of power circuits up to 690V AC and 220V DC. Ideal for managing 3-phase motors and non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, these contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface that accepts a wide control voltage range (Uc min to Uc max). With just four coils, they cover control voltages between 24–500V at 50/60 Hz AC or 20–500V DC, making them highly versatile for global applications without the need for coil changes.
Built-in surge protection eliminates the need for additional suppressors, enhancing system reliability. The AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors are built in a compact block-type design and include:
- Main Poles and Auxiliary Contacts: 3 main poles, 1 built-in auxiliary contact, and front/side-mounted add-on auxiliary blocks (mechanically linked auxiliary contacts per IEC 60947-5-1 Annex L; N.C. mirror contacts per IEC 60947-4-1 Annex F).
