The AF12 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, making them ideal for managing 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature a built-in electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range, allowing operation from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC—all with just four coil variants. This flexibility enables the same coil to be used globally without the need for replacement, even with significant voltage fluctuations. Additionally, AF contactors come equipped with integrated surge protection, eliminating the need for external surge suppressors. The AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors follow a compact block-type design and include 3 main poles and 1 built-in auxiliary contact. They support both front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. The auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked in accordance with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and the N.C. mirror contacts comply with Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit is compatible with both AC and DC operation, and a comprehensive range of accessories is available to meet various application requirements.
