AF38 4-pole contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690V AC and 440V DC, primarily used for non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, such as resistance furnaces. They feature an advanced electronic coil interface that accepts a wide control voltage range, with just four coils covering 24-500V AC (50/60 Hz) or 20-500V DC. This allows them to handle significant voltage variations and operate across different control voltages worldwide without requiring a coil change. The AF series 4-pole contactors have a block-type design and include 2 N.O. + 2 N.C. main poles, along with front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These contacts are mechanically linked, complying with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, while the N.C. mirror contacts meet Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can be operated with either AC or DC, and a wide range of accessories is available to enhance functionality and adaptability.
