The AF52 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, making them ideal for applications such as controlling 3-phase motors and non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors are equipped with an advanced electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range, from Uc min. to Uc max., allowing for significant flexibility. Remarkably, just four coil variants cover a broad voltage spectrum of 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, enabling a single coil to accommodate different global voltage standards without the need for replacement. The AF contactors are capable of handling large voltage fluctuations and come with integrated surge protection, eliminating the need for external surge suppressors. Featuring a block-type design, the AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors include three main poles and offer the option of front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked, compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and include N.C. mirror contacts that meet Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can operate on either AC or DC, and a wide selection of accessories is available for enhanced functionality.
