The AF52 4-pole contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 440 V DC, primarily for non-inductive or slightly inductive loads such as resistance furnaces. Featuring an electronic coil interface, these contactors accommodate a wide control voltage range from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 20 to 500 V DC, with just four coils covering global voltage variations, eliminating the need for coil changes. AF contactors include built-in surge protection, removing the necessity for additional surge suppressors. They are of a block-type design with four normally open (N.O.) main poles, and they support front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. The auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked and comply with IEC 60947-5-1 Annex L, while the normally closed (N.C.) mirror contacts meet IEC 60947-4-1 Annex F standards. Operable with either AC or DC control circuits, the AF52 contactors are compatible with a wide range of accessories for enhanced functionality.
