The AF65 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, and are primarily used for operating 3-phase motors as well as non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range (Uc min. to Uc max.), offering exceptional versatility. With just four coil types, the AF series can handle control voltages ranging from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, making them suitable for global applications without requiring coil changes. They are capable of managing significant variations in control voltage and are equipped with built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for external suppressors. The AF series 1-stack 3-pole contactors have a robust block-type design and include three main poles along with optional front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked, compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and feature N.C. mirror contacts that meet the requirements of Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can be operated using either AC or DC, and a broad range of compatible accessories is available for enhanced adaptability.
