AF80 4-pole contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 440 V DC. They are primarily used for managing non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, such as resistance furnaces. These contactors feature an advanced electronic coil interface that supports a wide control voltage range. With only four coil variants, they cover voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) or 20 to 500 V DC, allowing a single coil to operate across various global voltage levels without the need for replacement. AF contactors are capable of handling significant voltage fluctuations and come with integrated surge protection, eliminating the need for additional suppressors. The AF series 4-pole contactors feature a robust block-type design with 2 normally open (N.O.) and 2 normally closed (N.C.) main poles. They also support front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks, with mechanically-linked auxiliary contacts compliant with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, and N.C. mirror contacts meeting Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1.
