AF80 contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 220 V DC, making them ideal for operating 3-phase motors and managing non-inductive or slightly inductive loads. These contactors feature an electronic coil interface that supports a broad control voltage range, from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, using only four coil types. This allows a single coil to accommodate varying voltage requirements globally, eliminating the need for coil replacement. AF contactors are capable of handling wide voltage fluctuations and come equipped with built-in surge protection, removing the need for additional surge suppressors. The AF series consists of 1-stack, 3-pole contactors in a block-type design, featuring three main poles and provisions for front or side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked in compliance with IEC 60947-5-1 (Annex L) and include N.C. mirror contacts that meet IEC 60947-4-1 (Annex F) standards. Suitable for both AC and DC control circuits, the AF80 contactors are also compatible with a wide range of accessories, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in industrial applications.
