AF80 4-pole contactors are designed for controlling power circuits up to 690 V AC and 440 V DC, making them ideal for managing non-inductive or slightly inductive loads, such as resistance furnaces. These contactors feature an electronic coil interface that accommodates a wide range of control voltages. With just four coil variants, they efficiently cover control voltages from 24 to 500 V AC (50/60 Hz) and 20 to 500 V DC, allowing for global use without the need to change coils. The AF contactors are capable of handling significant voltage fluctuations and come equipped with built-in surge protection, eliminating the need for external suppressors. Featuring a robust block-type design, the AF series 4-pole contactors include four normally open (N.O.) main poles and support both front and side-mounted auxiliary contact blocks. These auxiliary contacts are mechanically linked and comply with Annex L of IEC 60947-5-1, while the normally closed (N.C.) mirror contacts meet the standards of Annex F of IEC 60947-4-1. The control circuit can be operated with either AC or DC, and a wide selection of accessories is available to enhance adaptability and performance.
