The WB75-A 220-230V 50Hz / 220-255V 60Hz / 220-230V DC is a mechanical latching unit designed to convert standard contactors into latched contactors. It features a mechanical latching mechanism with electromagnetic impulse unlatching, operable in both AC and DC, as well as manual unlatching. Once the contactor is closed, the latching mechanism ensures it remains in the closed position even if the supply voltage to the contactor coil terminals is lost. Contactor opening can be controlled either electrically, by applying an impulse (AC or DC) to the WB75-A block coil—designed for momentary activation rather than continuous energization—or manually, by pressing the pushbutton located on the front face of the WB75-A block.
